College is a big step forward in life, there are a lot of decisions you will have to face as the year goes on a lot of decisions that you may not want to face but you will have to. That is what happens when you grow up. some students will be excited to move forward in life and some will be scared and timid to try new things. Just know that change is not always bad, good things come out of change. Leaving home to go off to school is a good change in life, it is getting you the education and the skills that you need to make your next step in life. People may make mistakes while in college and hopefully those mistakes will help build them to be stronger. There is also the fear of the first couple weeks off school. People are timid of what is going to happen to them their first couple weeks. Mostly because of the transition from being at home with their family and friends to being alone and making new friends. Also getting used to being on their own. There are also the students who are thrilled and excited to be moving out and getting to be on their own. They are excited to start a new life and meet new people. There are a mixture of emotions going through students heads as they are starting the transition to a new place and a new step in life.
Lucky this year has been a great year. I am glad to have chosen ASU as the school for my education. I have done a lot as a freshman, I have gotten myself involved in a lot of activity on and within campus and I happy here. I am excited to see what the future here at ASU holds for me. I have gained a lot of knowledge in not only my ENG class but all of the classes that I have taken so far. This year has been a success and I am excited to be moving on to my second year here at ASU and seeing what more I can learn and accomplish.
